Asian Chicken Marinade in easy to make Homemade Teriaki

  • • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • • 2 tablespoons honey
  • • ½ inch ginger root
  • • 1 clove garlic
  • • 2 skinless boneless chicken breasts
  • • 1 pepper - cut bite size
  • • 1 onion - cut bite size
Instructions
Directions/Method for Asian Chicken Marinade
  1. Put ¼ cup soy sauce in the bowl
  2. Add 2 tablespoons sesame sauce into the bowl
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of honey to the bowl
  4. Peel the ginger root and zest into the bowl
  5. Grate a clove of garlic and add to the bowl - stir the contents
  6. Marinade is made
  7. Put the cleaned and dry chicken breast into the marinade and dip both sides of the breast
  8. Marinate for 4 - 24 hours turning occasionally
  9. Bar-b-que when ready. These are delicious!
Directions for making Asian Chicken Kabobs
  1. Cut 1 - 2 chicken breasts into bite size pieces
  2. Place the pieces of chicken in the marinade as described above and marinate 4 - 8 hours
  3. Cut a pepper into bite size pieces
  4. Cut an onion into bite size pieces
  5. Put 1 marinade chicken piece on the skewer followed by a piece of onion and a piece of pepper
  6. Repeat until skewer is full to desired amount.
To avoid wooden skewers catching fire soak in water before making kabobs for the bar-b-que

Wash your hands with hand soap and water.
Make certain that all kitchen utensils and tools are clean
Be cautious with the knife. Curl your fingers back away from the knife when holding what you are cutting.
Never lick a knife.
Do not lick your fingers without washing your hands instantly after licking.
Never lick any kitchen utensil without washing it instantly before using it again.

Kabobs may include mushrooms, cherry tomatoes etc. Experiment to find your favorite kabob.
Easy Clean-up – for Asian Chicken Marinade
Dish soap, Dishtowels, Kitchen Sponge/Cloth
1. Wash all the kitchen utensils/tools and put them away in the proper cupboard.
2. Put ingredients back into the proper cupboards.
3. Wipe down the counter-top with soap and water.
