Food Safety – for Fresh Salsa
Wash your hands with hand soap and water.
Make certain that all kitchen utensils and tools are clean
Be cautious with the knife. Curl your fingers back away from the knife when holding what you are cutting.
Never lick a knife.
Do not lick your fingers without washing your hands instantly after licking.
Never lick any kitchen utensil without washing it instantly before using it again.

- ½ cup tomatoes - diced
- ¼ cup pepper - diced
- 1 clove garlic - chopped
- ½ teaspoon hot pepprs
- 1 lime - juiced
- ½ tablespoon tomato sauce
- ½ teaspoon brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch cumin
- ⅓ bunch cilantro
- Dice ½ cup/125 ml. of tomatoes and put in the bowl
- Dice ¼ cup/60 ml of pepper and put into the bowl
- Dice one garlic clove and put into the bowl
- Finely chop ½ teaspoon/7 ml
- Juice 1 lime and add the juice to the bowl
- Add ½ tablespoon/7 ml of tomato sauce to the bowl
- Add ½ teaspoon/7ml brown sugar to the bowl
- Add ¼ teaspoon/1 ml of salt to the bowl
- Add a pinch of cumin to the bowl
- Add ⅓ a bunch of cilantro chopped to the bowl
- Mix all of the ingredients together and serve
