- new potatoes
- Fill the pot with enough water to cover the potatoes, add a dash of salt and place on high heat
- Bring to a boil.
- Scrub potatoes with a clean brush and put into the pot.
When boiling turn the heat back to simmer and cook for 20 minutes - Poke a knife into the potatoes - knife will enter the potatoes easily they are done.
