Cutting Boards – keep them from sliding about

Cutting boards are a kitchen essential.  Cutting and chopping on the counter-top is dangerous, unsanitary and will leave unsightly cuts and scratches on the counter-top.

Cutting boards come in all sizes.   A cutting board that slips and slides on the counter-top is dangerous.  A slipping or sliding cutting board while chopping may result in you seriously gashing your finger.

Some cutting boards come with a non-slip bottom.

For cutting boards that do not have a non-slip bottom put a wet towel under the cutting board to stabilize it.
