- Orange pop
- Fresh orange pieces
- Ice cream
- Kitchen Utensils – for Refreshing Orange Float
- Tall cup
- Ice Cream scoop or spoon
- Straw
- Knife sharp
- Hand Soap, Hand Towels (clean),
- Rubber kitchen gloves (non-slip), dish soap,
- Hat or hair net, Apron, Pencil and Recipe
- Food Safety – for Refreshing Orange Float
- Wash your hands with hand soap and water.
- Make certain that all kitchen utensils and tools are clean
- Be cautious with the knife. Curl your fingers back away from the knife when holding what you are cutting.
- Never lick a knife.
- Do not lick your fingers without washing your hands instantly after licking.
- Never lick any kitchen utensil without washing it instantly before using it again.
- Easy Clean-up – for Refreshing Orange Float
- Dish soap, Dishtowels, Kitchen Sponge/Cloth
- Wash all the kitchen utensils/tools and put them away in the proper cupboard.
- Put ingredients back into the proper cupboards.
- Wipe down the counter-top with soap and water.

- peel an orange and cut a couple sections into small pieces - remaining orange is a good snack
- pour the Orange pop into a tall cup/glass/tumbler - leave enough space at the top for ice cream
- put the orange pieces into the pop
- put a scoop of ice cream into the pop
- Add straw and serve
