This review is from: Skinny Bitch in the Kitch: Kick-Ass Solutions for Hungry Girls Who Want to Stop Cooking Crap (and Start Looking Hot!) (Paperback)
I made the Pecan Crusted French Toast, Onion Rings, Crabby Cakes, Tabouleh, Edamame Three-Bean Salad, Dream Bars and Rice Pudding after reading a copy from my library. I loved everything, so I’m ordering the book! I found the recipes to be things that I would feed non-vegans, and there weren’t too many crazy ingredients to contend with – everything was easily found at the grocery store.

This book was a complete waste of money. The recipes are completely unimaginative. Take any cookbook and put the word ‘vegan’ in front of all the non-vegan ingredients and thats what this book is. Pretty much all the recipes are combinations of processed prepackaged crap. I haven’t bothered to open it again. It’s collecting dust on my book shelf. I would have given it zero stars, but one is the lowest the scale goes.

this cookbook is the outstanding sequel to skinny bitch….and if you loved that book, you need to get this one…the recipes are pretty good…but some make a lot more then what the recipe states..eg; bitchin breakfast burrito was good but was supposed to serve 4 people it could easily serve six..unless you have a huge appetite. the sushi recipe was also good but made alot….i am only cooking for 1 person though. so a person with a couple people to feed would probably love the size of theses recipes..overall i would recommend this book as one of the better ones out there. good helthy recipes and you can’t beat the price.
