Food Safety – for Pork Marinade & Pork Loin Kabobs
Wash your hands with hand soap and water.
Make certain that all kitchen utensils and tools are clean
Be cautious with the knife. Curl your fingers back away from the knife when holding what you are cutting.
Never lick a knife.
Do not lick your fingers without washing your hands instantly after licking.
Never lick any kitchen utensil without washing it instantly before using it again.

- ⅓ cup soy sauce
- ⅓ cup rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic
- ½ inch ginger root - fresh
- 1 sprig Rosemary
- In a bowl add ⅓ cup/75 ml of soy sauce
- Add ⅓ cup/75 ml of rice vinegar
- Add 1 tablespoon/15 ml of sesame oil to the bowl
- Zest 1 garlic clove and add to the bowl
- Zest 1 inch/2.5 cms of ginger into the bowl
- Stir the contents of the bowl together
- Cut into small pieces and add 1 sprig of Rosemary to the bowl
- Add the pork to the bowl - for making kabobs cut the pork into bite size pieces before marinating
Marinate for 4- 24 hours
Always soak wooden kabob sticks before using to avoid wooden sticks catching fire.
- Clean and cut red/green/yellow pepper into bite size pieces
- Clean and cut an onion into bite size pieces
- To assemble the kabob push the kabob stick through a marinated piece of the Pork
- Next push the kabob stick through a bite size piece of pepper
- Next push the kabob stick through a bite size piece of onion
Repeat steps 3 - 5 until the kabob stick is full and place on BBQ
Bowl, sharp knife, zester, measuring cups and spoons
Cutting board for meat, cutting board for the vegetables
Hand Soap, Hand Towels (clean),
Oven mitts, Rubber kitchen gloves (non-slip), dish soap,
Hat or hair net, Apron, Pencil and Recipe

Mushrooms, carrots, cherry tomatoes, celery, broccoli, cauliflower almost any vegetable can be put on a kabob
Easy Clean-up – for Pork Marinade
Dish soap, Dishtowels, Kitchen Sponge/Cloth
1. Wash all the kitchen utensils/tools and put them away in the proper cupboard.
2. Put ingredients back into the proper cupboards.
3. Wipe down the counter-top with soap and water.
