Make certain that all kitchen utensils and tools are clean

- 1 carrot - grated
- 1 red pepper - diced
- 1 clove garlic - diced
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 tin canned tomatoes
- ¼ cup tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon oregano - fresh or dried
- Clean, peel and grate the carrot
- Clean and dice the red pepper
- Clean and chop 1 clove of garlic
The vegetables must be sauteed - Put a pot on high heat, add vegetable oil to lightly coat the bottom of the pot and toss in and begin stirring the carrots
- Add the chopped pepper to the pot
- Add the garlic to the pot and continue stirring
- Open the tin of tomatoes and put them in a bowl and crush with a masher
- Add the crushed tomatoes to the pot and stir
- Add the tomato puree to the pot and stir the contents
- Add 1 tablespoon/15 ml of sugar to the pot and stir the contents
- Add 1 tablespoon/15 ml of dried oregano or cut fresh oregano with scissors into the pot and stir
