Wash your hands with hand soap and water.
Make certain that all kitchen utensils and tools are clean
Be cautious with the knife. Curl your fingers back away from the knife when holding what you are cutting.
Never lick a knife.
Do not lick your fingers without washing your hands instantly after licking.
Never lick any kitchen utensil without washing it instantly before using it again.

- Lettuce leaves
- peppers - yellow/orange diced
- mushrooms
- cherry tomatoes
- green onion
- Parsely - chopped fresh
- 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 tablespoon wine vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and Pepper
- Rip several leaves of cleaned lettuce leaves into bite sizes and place in a bowl
- Wash and cut the yellow and orange peppers into bite sizes and add to the lettuce in the bowl
- Clean and cut the celery into bite sizes and put the pieces into the bowl
- Wash the cherry tomatoes and add to the bowl
- Clean the green onion and cut off the roots - using the scissors cut the green onion unto small pieces into the bowl.
- Clean and cut the mushroom into strips and add to the bowl
- Clean and using the scissor cut some parsley over the contents of the bowl
- Measure 3 tablespoons/45 ml of olive oil into a jar
- Measure 1 tablespoon/15 ml of vinegar into the jar
- Measure 1 teaspoon/5 ml of Dijon mustard into the jar
- Place the top on the jar and shake the ingredients together
Salad bowl, mixing jar, sharp knife
