                                                    To avoid cutting yourself with a kitchen knife there are two simple basic acts.
1. Keep your knives sharp. A sharp knife cut well. A dull knife tends to make you push and pull harder creating a possible slip.
2. If you do cut yourself immediately clean the wound. A wound must be covered when working with food to avoid contamination.
