To toast small amounts of pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds and nuts a hot skillet is best. Once the skillet is hot pour in the seeds and continually shake the skillet in small circles to avoid burning. As soon as the seeds or nuts are heated pour them onto a plate to allow to cool before serving. You will be happy with the enhanced flavor.
